Class Descriptions

Beginners
A welcoming class that introduces the foundations of Iyengar Yoga. Students learn correct alignment, use of props, and mindful breathing to build strength, balance, and flexibility. Perfect for newcomers or anyone wanting to refine their practice in a supportive environment.

General Class
A balanced class suitable for students with some yoga experience. Explore a variety of postures with attention to alignment, strength, and flexibility. Classes may include standing poses, forward bends, twists, backbends, and restorative poses, offering a well-rounded practice for body and mind.

Senior Class
A supportive class designed for older adults to safely build strength, improve flexibility, and enhance balance. Using props and modifications, students move at a comfortable pace to support joint health, ease of movement, and overall well-being. No prior yoga experience needed.

Restorative
A deeply relaxing practice that uses props to fully support the body in gentle postures. With longer holds and mindful breathing, this class calms the nervous system, releases tension, and restores energy. Suitable for all levels—especially those seeking rest, balance, and renewal.

Intermediate
For students with a consistent practice who are ready to deepen their understanding of alignment and explore more challenging postures. Classes include inversions, backbends, and longer holds, with an emphasis on precision, stamina, and mindful awareness.

Yoga Kurunta (ropes)
Experience the unique support of the Yoga Wall to enhance strength, alignment, and flexibility. Using straps and resistance, students safely explore poses in new ways—deepening stretches, building core stability, and creating a sense of freedom in movement. Suitable for all levels.

Yoga Lab
A dynamic class with space for discussion and questions. Each session focuses on common areas of challenge such as shoulders, hips, hamstrings, strength, and flexibility. Classes may also include inversions, backbends, and guidance for building a supportive home practice.

Yoga Sutra Talks
It is said that to understand the Yoga Sutras, one must have a teacher. This is a class for anyone interested in exploring the deeper teachings of Yoga. An opportunity to discuss and learn about the Yoga Sutras, reflecting on their meaning and relevance in daily life. No prior study is needed — just curiosity and a desire to grow in understanding.
